The Wolven

A race of humanoid wolf-creatures with a tribal structure have been harrying the fringes of your town for as long as you can remember. Striking from the forests and generally posing nothing more than a mild inconvenience.

Over the years however, they've become a far larger threat; using special potions and magic, they've found ways to entrance humans. Quickly and extensively altering their minds to make them not only wholly subservient to the Wolven, but to make it so they breed further Wolven atop this.

Decisive action must be taken before they can expand exponentially. A covert party of heroes must infiltrate the heart of this tribe, and assassinate the charismatic Chieftain leader who has united the numerous Wolven clans. It is hoped that without leadership, the tribe will fracture and splinter, warring amongst themselves for dominance.

Explore

The party enters the forest seeking clues to the location of the clans Chieftain. Depending on their methods they will spot, or be spotted by a Wolven hunting party. Make a contested roll, providing an initiative bonus to the team with the winning roll.

Fight: [Party Size] x Wolven Hunter

Upon defeating the hunters, the party interrogates the aroused, pent up beastmen. They say the Chieftain has secluded himself as part of a ritual.

The wolves reveal two options to the party;

  • Some recently captured humans from a raiding camp are being sent to the Chieftain to carry his young, they may have overheard where they are being taken.
  • Investigate a Shamaness of a prestigious clan allied with the Chieftain, who is currently gathering sacred herbs by a spring.

Rescue

The party approach to camp to discover the human women lightly bound by their wrists to a pole, resting against a tree. Around them the camp consists of little more than a campfire gently boiling a pleasant smelling potion, and a few rolled up fur mats for the Wolven hunters to sleep on, the Wolves themselves no where to be seen.

The humans awake, noticing the party. They fearfully check their surroundings, before silently mouthing to the party to help them. If members of the party approach them, they are betrayed, with each "captive" quickly adding 4HP head bondage to up to two party members that approached to help them, before being ambushed by the hiding Wolves. Apply hooded until all head bondage removed.

Trap: The camp site hides numerous snares around its perimeter. Moving players must roll above the snare count to avoid triggering a trap.

Fight: [Party Size / 2] x Wolven Hunter, [Party Size / 2] x Human Proselyte

Upon victory the Proselyte's apologise for their betrayal. They had believed that Wolven victory was inevitable, and were told they would be respected in the tribe if they responsible for accelerating their victory. They may either;

  • Tell the party where the Chieftain would be undergoing a virility ritual, seeding his latest conquest.
  • Provide a clue as to his location, leading to the party seeking out the Shamaness.

Ambush

The party slowly approach the spring, careful not to draw attention to themselves. The Shamaness is seen, accompanied by a small group of human worshippers. They work under her guidance, mixing and grinding up various herbs and fluids.

It is seen that the Wolven's human followers play a central role in empowering the tribe, not only in replenishing Wolf numbers through mating, but as full time cottonwine brewers. Betraying their species by producing the potion needed to entrance new breeding partners for the tribe, and keep them submissive.

The Shamaness calmly announces to the party that she is aware of their presence, as has been foretold by her Gods. Her human followers bearing tummies heavy with wolf pups retreat from the spring, whilst those not so encumbered prepare to protect their spiritual leader.

Fight: Wolven Shamaness, [Party Size - 2] x Human Proselyte

Upon defeating the Shamaness and her devout followers, the party learns more about the whereabouts of the Chieftain, either;

  • The She-Wolf tells the party the Chieftain's location, believing them to be no match for her Alpha.
  • A Human Proselyte, temporarily shaking off the effects of the drug, asks you to rescue her sister, who is being brought to the Chieftain to be mated as she speaks.

Dethrone the King

The party approach the secluded camp to the sounds of fur slapping against skin. The ritual is well under way, with the Chieftain rutting a human, holding her bliss filled face against the ground. A Shamaness offers her a bowl of cottonwine potion, that the human laps up eagerly, before pledging her womb to the Wolf Gods.

Other women provide their ministrations to the pair, clearly hand picked for the Chieftain due to their Goddess like beauty. A handful of Wolven Hunters watch over the display, enjoying the services of their submissive human mates whilst leaving their pussies untouched. Only the Chieftain has the right to father their young.

If the party patiently watches the gratuitous mating display waiting for the best moment to attack, each rolls a d20, becoming hazed on a roll of 14 or less. The party then strikes after the Chieftain knots his Proselyte, forcing him to use Pop on his first turn and stunning the Proselyte for her first turn.

Fight: Chieftain, Wolven Shamaness, Wolven Hunter, [Party Size - 3] x Human Proselyte

Upon defeating the last Wolven combatant, reinforcements arrive having heard the commotion in the distance. The Hunters are stunned by the sight of their slain leader. The party convinces the human worshippers that they can make themselves do what has to be done, to liberate themselves from their unjust masters. The Wolven are chased away, left to lick their wounds and to fight among themselves as to who is to lead the clans now. Victory!
